Danum Valley

One of the few remaining primary lowland rainforests in Sabah, Danum Valley's pristine habitat harbours some of the best birding in Malaysia. With the many Bornean and Sundaic endemics found here, plus a 5-star lodge in the middle of the jungle, it's no wonder this is one of Asia's birding hotspots. Walking the access road and the network of trails found here gives us the opportunity to find some of Borneo's best birds, most notably the Bristlehead, 5 species of Pittas, endemic Babblers, Flycatchers  and many other species found in these forests.
