Kuala Selangor Nature Park

This reserve on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia has a brackish water lake system and also covers a patch of mangrove forest. Several hides are situated around the lake and there is a boardwalk to explore the mangroves. This site serves as a good introduction to the common birds of Malaysia, those inhabiting parks and the open country though exploring the mangrove forest might turn up some mangrove restricted species.
